Magic From A Box Illustration Book

A beautiful little book full of one of my vibrant illustration styles. 100 to be exact. A deeply profound project that reflects my artistic passion starting right from my cartoon-like portrait represented on the cover. These amazing little drawings are done in colored pencil and depict different scenarios between animals and people, funny idioms, and simple play on word phrases. Magic From A Box came from the idea of days I had felt trapped and needed to find a way to escape. Days when I was feeling seemingly defined by my job, my living situation, who I was, etc.... Sitting down and creating a square gave me my box, yet my colored pencils helped me find happiness within that defined space. Somedays I felt just enough freedom to overcome my boundaries if for a moment through small illustrated humor. This 116 page book has so much creativity, heartfelt simplicity and dedicated story that could turn just about anyones rough day into a few stress free laughs.
